It is with great interest that I am applying for the elementary assistant principal position for the Liberty County School System. I have earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education, my Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership, and my Doctorate in Curriculum Studies. I am confident that I possess the qualifications your school needs in order to promote its philosophy and goals.
As my resume' will highlight, I currently serve as an instructional technology specialist for the Liberty County School System, where I train and support students, teachers, and administrators in grades pre-kindergarten through twelfth. In addition to training, I also observe teachers and give them feedback and suggestions to further maximize learning in their classrooms, model effective lessons in the classroom, create unique lessons that target specific student needs, create lesson plan templates for schools, and maintain a blog that showcases technology. Before moving into my current position, I was a classroom teacher as well as the administrator for the After School Program. This afforded me the opportunity to work with students in kindergarten through fifth grades, administer student conduct and maintain student discipline, oversee transportation, and review teacher lesson plans. I believe that my current and past experiences have helped prepare me for a leadership role.
As assistant principal, I will work to form partnerships between teachers, parents, and the community. By utilizing my technology skills, I will keep the door to communication open, providing staff and parents information pertaining to the success and operation of the school. I will strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment where teachers collaborate and hold students to the highest of standards. My personal and professional qualities will allow me to help guide your school down their continued road to success.
I am enthusiastic and eager to embark on this new adventure. I look forward to discussing this opportunity with you further in the near future. Thank you for your time and consideration.
